Rain turning to ice outside, with more (and possibly worse) to come later today. Won't chance walking to church on slippery stuff. Will likely stay in after church for remainder of the day. Hopefully not enough ice to take down power lines, though they're warning of the possibility especially north of us where the weather is worse. It's Friday, but this week feels off because of spending Tues/Wed in Madison. Going to Body Pump today as Nicole is back. Once I'm doing laundry, it will likely feel like Friday again. Spent the last two days with the daughter in Madison while Bob installed her in-sink dishwasher. Got some cat lap time, some nice walks on snow-free sidewalks in the sunshine, a few errands run. Back home now to remainder of snow on the ground. Got a contact from Bev with proofs of the sign and it looks great! Now I just need to contact the city and get approval. We got a big March snow yesterday, even though they thought we'd be a little outside the affected area. I would estimate we got 5-6" of wet stuff. Convenient that it fell on a Sunday (when we'd been to church on Saturday night) and the day before the schools are on spring break. Another week flown past. Kind of excited because I booked our Scotland flights on Icelandair and arranged for a 4-day stopover in Iceland while we don't have to pay anything extra for airfare. Secured a VRBO in Iceland for less than the hotel prices and set up a rental car. Only remaining tasks are the park-and-fly and the Glasgow hotels.
