First day on my new job! Mary Hofer called me last night and while talking, we arranged that she would pick me up at 8:40 today because it was predicted to rain and I don't have my parking permit yet. I wanted to walk, but the forecast looked grim, and was actually correct. I packed a lunch and a water bottle and hope that the rain is done by the time I want to walk home.
