Happy Independence Day. Mary chose a song for church this morning that has absolutely beautiful lyrics. It is to the tune of Finlandia, which I find somewhat amusing for American Independence Day since it was written by Sibelius as an anthem for Finland, but the words talk about loving our country and its beauty while acknowledging that other countries are also beautiful and asking the Lord to bless us all.
