Veterans Day. In my early days at PCHHS, this was a paid holiday for us, and we didn't get the day after Thanksgiving off. After several years, the county decided to switch the holidays so they could keep the utilities in the buildings off for the long weekend after Thanksgiving and save some money. Pretty much nobody else besides the post office and maybe Social Security took off on Veterans Day anyway so it was a little inconvenient for business.
