Cantoring yesterday was traumatic. The accompanist had her dates mixed up and didn't show, so I recruited Pat D'Ercole to sing a cappella with me. Kat Lindow came to the rescue just before offertory thanks to a text from her husband who was there with the kids. She had played at 8 am so knew what we were doing. I had post-trauma shakiness for much of the day until we took a nice long walk on the Green Circle segment by the disc golf course. Nature helps calm me down. Will be spending the afternoon with Leone today while Mick gets his second (and hopefully final) surgery. Not sure if it's for his eyes or his varicose veins. Scale is going up again, so time to start getting serious about watching food and exercise. Going out for beer and pizza after hiking yesterday was not "getting serious".
