Woke up with a feeling that I shouldn't go to the gym today, so I decided to listen to my gut. I will do a little exercise here and there around the house, but give my body a break before travel. Had a lovely evening with Michael and Taylor having wine and vegan cheese and good conversation last night. Spanish group and laundry is enough for today, with needing to go to bed very early to be up at 1:30 am for travel.

Wow, the time is passing quickly before our trip! I think I'm in pretty good shape with being ready, and hopefully whatever else needs to be done will come to mind in time to take care of it. Michael and Taylor are coming over this evening for our wine and cheese "supper" for Easter, at least hopefully they are coming. It will be nice to spend a little time with them before we leave.

We had our first date 45 years ago today! I'm glad we did. Things turned out well for us, and we are grateful.

Slept quite well last night and cold appears to be not developing further, thank you, Lord. Want to do some packing checks. Massage at 11 am, may try to get a pedicure this afternoon. Need to return several library books and pick up some waiting. Still waiting to see when Michael and Taylor will come.

Made it through all the Easter Triduum singing obligations before my cold set in yesterday afternoon, but it doesn't seem too bad at this point. Took Sudafed before bed and was able to breathe all night, and though I was awake on and off a lot, I feel rested this morning and not too bad. I'm hopeful.

Easter Sunday! Vigil went well last night, albeit late. Squeaked out around 6 hours to sleep; upside is that I didn't waste much of it in wakefulness or restlessness. Choir Mass at 8:00 and cantor at 10:30 today. Michael and Taylor are coming for wine and (vegan) cheese tonight.

2-hour rehearsal this afternoon for the long Easter vigil tonight, then up very early tomorrow for 7:15 practice for choir Mass at 8:00, followed by cantoring at 10:30. Lots of singing ahead. Thank you, Lord. that I haven't contracted the voice-stealing illness.
