Was initially disappointed to see that my computer had automatically updated last night, because when Bob's updated, it lost the ability to support his photo screensaver/desktop. I thought I was doomed to no photo slideshows while I run indoors until Apple fixed the problem. However, when the update screen finished, it opened to my photo slideshow and my desktop picture was still in place. Hopefully that's a good sign.
