Looking forward to a little evening away today at St Brendan's. Not sure if we'll be able to do a wine tasting at Captain's Walk as they have a special event wine and cheese scheduled at 6 pm with a comedy/variety show performance package at a nearby theater at 8 pm. Don't really want to do the whole shebang as it would be hard to fit a nice dinner in between and the show looks kind of Fargo-esque . Their website says very little about the show itself and does not intrigue me. We thought we'd rather have a good dinner at St Brendan's.
How did the pumpkin cornbread turn out? Recipe looks yummy. Ooooh, the cranberry sauce will be an excellent touch!

It's pretty delicious. I ended up just using a whole can of pumpkin (probably double what I should have) and it's very moist and delicious. Going to make cranberry sauce to put on top.
