Sat 4 Dec

Finishing breakfast at 8:15 so we can get an early start to Amherst for the bake sales and other Christmas festivities. I always look forward to this as an early Christmas season tradition.

Had a very nice time in Amherst and bought many homemade goodies. They no longer have all the lunch options they used to offer at the Jensen Center and it was early for lunch there anyway, so we came home and walked downtown to Cafe 27 for curried pumpkin soup, 1/2 ham and cheese panini with caramelized onions, and salad sampler. May be an interesting ride to Clintonville in Maxine's van with Dad full of caramelized onions. Hmmm.

Baked a batch of chocolate crinkle cookies for the bake sale following tomorrow's choir concert. Will sit down now to enjoy my hazelnut chocolate cheesecake from the Jensen Center as my "supper".
