Home again (with the typical rise in the scale from a brief vacation), but we had an excellent weekend. We were able to do everything I had hoped for, eat good Wild Tomato pizza and have our dinner at CHOP, hike some beautiful trails in Cave Point/Whitefish Dunes State Park and one of the Land Trust sites (Lautenbach Hills). Got another peck of Honey Crisps and some delicious local pears. Beautiful room at RunAway Lodge @ Valmy with our own full kitchen, balcony overlooking nothing but trees, and a comfortable king bed.
