Today is the anniversary of our first date and Val & Kate's anniversary as well. Had a nice visit with Laura in Madison yesterday. Celebrated her birthday early with dinner at Tavernakaya, but I must admit I wasn't overly impressed with the food. Laura's sashimi board looked gorgeous, but Bob and I sampled other things including some popcorn chicken Laura insisted was wonderful, and nothing really wowed me.
