Another nice day, at least til it rained. Got up early and bought plants for the yard at County Market. Dad and I drove down to Baraboo for the Faire on the Square, while Michael had planned to spend the day at Hannah's. When we got home, there was a bag of Hannah's swimsuits and Michael's ring from her on the back outside shelf and the neighborhood kids told Bob that Michael had texted them that he broke up with Hannah today. He finally responded to our messages and called home to say they broke up over the phone this morning and he spent the day with Nick Kubisiak instead.
I like Hannah well enough, but I'd actually be glad to see Michael get to date a few other girls while he's in high school. I guess we'll just have to see how it plays out for him. Dad talked to him and said he didn't sound too upset, as though the breakup is his idea.

8:30 am Vanilla soy shake, 198 g strawberries
11:45 am 3 oz roast beef, kaiser roll, 1/2 c fried onions, can Diet Coke
12:45 pm 16 oz fresh-squeezed lemonade, 2 c kettle corn
1:30 pm Sample bites of brownie, chocolate croissant, 3 kinds of cheese
4:30 pm 3 oz thinly-sliced prime rib, 1/2 c garlic pasta, 3/4 c roasted veggies (zucchini, broccoli, carrots), 1/2 c corn, small mini-loaf cherry bread w/2 tsp butter, 16 oz fresh-squeezed OJ, 1/2 piece strawberry pie
8:30 pm 1 c kettle corn
