Nice to have a day off today to tie up loose Christmas-prep ends. I'm looking forward to the whole holiday weekend. Anxious to have you home with us for a little while.

Got quite a bit done already, more to do this evening.

Wowsers, that was a nummy supper. Lamb shanks braised in cabernet sauvignon with my own rosemary and thyme dried from my herb garden, along with roasted super-sweet potatoes.


Food:

8:00 am 1 c Trader Joe's multigrain flaxseed cereal, 1/2 c light original soy milk, 1/4 med cantaloupe, coffee
12:15 pm Half turkey veggie wrap w/mango salsa, cup mushroom barley soup w/spinach
3:45 pm Small pretzel stick w/white chocolate, lebkuchen cookie
5:30 pm 4 TJ's dark chocolate stars
7:15 pm 5.5 oz braised lamb shank, 1/2 c carrots/onions/tomatoes in braising liquid, 1 c roasted sweet potatoes, 12 oz milk, 4 oz cabernet sauvignon
10:15 pm Butterhorn
