Sun 26 May

Nice day trip to Madison yesterday. Very successful at the Farmer's Market - beautiful tomato plants and all the herbs I wanted. Nice lunch at Brasserie V, though they had turned on their A/C and I was chilly by the end of the meal. My energy lasted as long as it needs to, but with not a lot to spare. I was glad to sit down and rest and to get home to my book. It was good that we didn't meet Laura's friend with her small children; I don't think my energy could have been stretched to touristy things with energetic cute kids. Weather was warm and mostly sunny while we were there; a nice change from what we've had to now. Food: 8:00 am Chocolate croissant, 101 g blackberries, coffee
