It's finally here, the trip that hasn't truly seemed real yet. Today we drive up to Houghton and spend the night at the Super 8. Tomorrow morning we get on the ferry (for 6 hours!) to Isle Royale where we will spend four nights in a housekeeping cabin and hopefully hike some beautiful trails and see a moose (and maybe Northern Lights?) Hopefully I am well packed for whatever we will need, or that anything not thought of will be available at the camp store. Food: 8:15 am Prune danish, 101 g blackberries, coffee
