Rain this morning, quite heavy when we went to the Farmer's Market. David was there today in person so we chatted a bit (under his tent). In checking Underground hourly forecast, there are thunderstorms predicted for the hours of 12, 1, and 2 when we would be walking so it's likely we'll take a pass this year. Temps are cool, around 56 now and not expected to rise considerably, and walking tired and wet in the cool weather is not likely to assist with recovery from my cold. Not to mention that walking in the rain is not really pleasant. Well, we took a long morning walk around Schmeeckle lake to atone for skipping out on Walk WI. It only rained a teeny bit and was otherwise just cloudy for us. I felt better about skipping out, except then it never rained again the rest of the day so we would have been okay.
