Glad to hear you made it safely to Virginia. Good luck to Keaton with the apartment hunt. Good idea to go out with current friends to look for things to do - that's always a little more challenging if you have to tackle it alone the first time. I hope you guys have a great weekend exploring. Thanks for keeping me posted, and have a safe journey when it's time to come home.

Yesterday afternoon my right eye hurt while I was driving to a visit, not horribly but noticeably. When I went back to the office and looked in the mirror, the right side of the eye was extremely red. I took out the contact and rinse it which felt better, and when I got home, I took out the contacts for the rest of the night. When I got up this morning, the eye was still almost as red, so I got a walk-in appointment with Nancy Swisher. She wasn't sure but thought I might have a slight abrasion and the redness near the bottom of the eye would be pooled blood due to gravity. She recommended I not wear my contacts for a week, so I decided to try the monocular vision thing. I'm wearing the contact on the uninjured eye which is the correct one to do the monocular thing as it's the dominant eye. I'm not crazy about it, but it's better than wearing my glasses all week and maybe after a good long trial, I'll find I like it. I do like being able to read close up without glasses.
