Just read a SparkPeople email about healthy habits for college students. Suggested things like making good use of your school's fitness center facilities and walking whenever you can. I thought, "My daughter is certainly excellent with those things!" I'm proud of how well you eat and take care of yourself. I believe you have formed excellent lifetime habits that will serve you well. Then the occasional treats or relaxation binges don't damage you as much as refresh you to get back to the good habits.
Really looking forward to going to Appleton for Wicked today! We'll go early enough to stop off at the mall to pick up my free Victoria's Secret undies since the card arrived after I had already left for the mall with Grandma last week. Might stop at Woodman's afterward to get another cheap soy milk and check out their produce selection. Plan is to go to Victoria's after the matinee and have the dinner-for-two for $35 with bottle of wine, large appetizer to share (last time we had stuffed mushroom caps - yum!), 2 large salads, 2 large entrees, and 2 full-size desserts. We'll do what we did last time which is to have them pack up both entrees to go for family meals next week and just eat the other things. We had plenty to eat when we did this before and each entree serves our whole family, probably with leftovers.
Wicked was delightful! The story was very unlike the book, so even though I'd read it, it was like watching a new story altogether. Dinner was also good. Nice day.
Did you get your Valentine package? Grandma is sure to ask again tomorrow.
