Sun 20 Feb

The promised snow dump is not in evidence yet, though I guess I'd prefer it to come after we navigate Grandma to church and lunch. I'm hoping for a snow day from choir tonight. Been a long time since we got a significant snow up here. I'm pumped!

Felt good to take the bandage off my heel yesterday afternoon and rest with the air healing the blister. It looks better today; scabbed over. Ballet doesn't require shoes so I didn't have to stress it this morning. I will look for open clogs for church - another advantage of delay on the snow,

Oh, what a lovely snow! It did start during church so my feet were a little chilly and wet, but now I have nice warm slippers and I don't intend to venture outside except to grab the wine chilling on the shelf outside the back door a little later. Choir was cancelled, we stopped at the grocery store for meat for the rotisserie, and I plan to watch another segment or four of Top Chef.

Used the rotisserie to make country style ribs like the ones we get in Door County from the market. They were very good, but it was a challenge to get them strung up on the vertical rotisserie spindles so they didn't sag too much. I also broke my olive oil container with the brush by setting it in the sink to be washed and then bumping a Calphalon pan on top of it. Ouch.
