Sun 6 Feb - Super Bowl Sunday!!!!

GO, PACK, GO!!!!!!!!!!!!

We'll be watching at home this evening. Michael has hinted that he might join us. I'm brining a Costco chicken now for the rotisserie. Haven't decided how I might marinade it before impaling it on the spindle. Might roast some sweet potatoes and asparagus (I think there's a fresh bunch in the fridge?) I have some chips and cheese, too. And I cracked open the bottle of riesling yesterday that Michael gave me for Christmas so we can finish that, too. Considering baking up a loaf of beer bread, but not sure yet.

Yup, Michael and Lon are going to join us. He loves the beer bread so I'm going to do that, probably in lieu of baking sweet potatoes. I might decide to do some frozen sweet potato fries though. I do have asparagus so I probably will roast that as it is also one of Michael's favorites and I want to have some veggies anyway. I bought a package of those break-and-bake cookies at the store recently, so I'm baking those for a sweet.

We had green-and-gold day at church this morning, down to Fr. Tom's vestments. Afterward there was a tailgate party coffee. Kathy Hartman had made her "Christmas mice" as little footballs, complete with laces.

Wow! The first half I screamed, the second half I barely breathed. I'm starting to feel a normal heartbeat again.
