Today I go wiht Grandma to the oncologist to discuss whether she needs to do anything further with the breast cancer. I'm hoping he's in agreement with Paul Munck that the best course is to do nothing. I would hate to see the treatment be more dangerous than the disease.
Tonight is "sin night" - I'm taking Grandma to the annual Evening of Chocolate Decadence. It's a fundraiser for the Epilepsy Association and consists of numerous area restaurants bringing any kind of chocolate conceivable. There are chocolate candies, cheesecake, cake, bars, chocolate fountain, real food with chocolate incorporated, you name it. Eat tonight, work out hard and eat right again starting tomorrow. And I'll be careful for the most part during the day today, except for the ponczka this morning.
Dr. Horrible sounds like a real hoot - literally as well as figuratively! Glad you had a great time.
Food:
7:00 am Prune ponczka, 150 g strawberries, cherry juice from concentrate, coffee
12:15 pm Barbecue/bun, 1/2 c baked beans, pickle spear, 1" square brownie
1:30 pm 1 Banana Split granola bite
5:15 pm 2 pc string cheese, medium banana
6:00 pm Suffice it to say I ate way too much - 5 oz champagne, small skewer shrimp, 3 pc sushi, crostini w/artichoke dip, crostini sandwich w/chicken mole, 1/2 chocolate creme brulee, 1/2 c tiramisutini, turtle truffle, several pieces chocolate covered pretzel, fruit in chocolate fountain, plain fruit, bites of various chocolate cakes, etc.

Sounds fun! Last night I went with a friend to a Dr. Horrible sing-along - myself and 400 of my closest friends belting out the words to every song in the show. It was ridiculously fun. And then they showed the musical episode from Buffy the Vampire slayer and most people stayed and sang along to that, too. That was my night of fun :)
And it involved chocolate - there's a cart on Library Mall at night that sells fresh baked chocolate chip cookies and I totally got one for the walk home.
