Mon 10 Aug

I was really tired this morning in spite of a decent night's sleep. If we don't hike tonight, I think I'll go to bed quite early to try to catch up a bit. It's probably a carryover from being tired at the end of last week. I probably should have taken a longer nap yesterday.

Hope you had fun at the ocean yesterday. Maybe you'll have recommendations for us for things to do, places to eat, etc. I expect we'll drive there one day just to see that part of the coast (and maybe get some good seafood!)

Glad you had a great time. I can almost taste the fresh seafood!


Food:

7:00 am 1 c raisin bran, 1/2 c light vanilla soy milk, 156 g strawberries, 1/4 medium cantaloupe, coffee
11:45 am Vanilla soy shake, 136 g cranberry orange scone, 153 g strawberries
2:30 pm La Mas Rica snack size mango ice cream bar
3:30 pm 1 lightly salted rice cake
6:45 pm Noodles & Co small Bangkok Curry w/shrimp, 16 oz Minute Maid Light lemonade, tasting spoon butterscotch Coldstone
8:15 pm 1/2 c Kemp's vanilla custard, 1 c sliced strawberries



Exercise:

5:10-5:55 am Power Shaping DVD
3:05-3;25 pm Walk
6:20-6:40 pm Walk to Noodles
7:15-7:35 pm Walk home

The beach was super fun - found some street parking (otherwise it's pretty expensive), which you should be able to find if you go in the middle of the week. We body surfed in the ocean, walked around on the boardwalk (there are benches in the shade for g'ma) and had delicious seafood for dinner. I don't remember the name of the restaurant but I can give you directions!
