Nice sunshine today, temps breaking 50 finally. A reprieve.
Tried a simple new crock pot recipe, but it was nothing great. Just chicken breasts (I used thighs) straight from the freezer, 2 cans black beans, 1 jar salsa, and 1/2 c brown rice. If I made it again, I'd add some water as the rice didn't really have enough liquid to cook thoroughly.
Food:
8:15 am Slice ctanberry bread, 161 g strawberries, coffee
12:00 pm Egg beaters, mushrooms, spinach, 3 tomato slices, wedge cantaloupe, wedge honeydew, toasted English muffin w/butter, 1 tub orange marmalade, coffee
3:00 pm 2 molasses cookies
5:15 pm Serving of chicken/black beans/salsa/brown rice, Healthy Harvest peach sauce, 12 oz light vanilla soy milk, slice cranberry pudding pie

I'm not sure if I'd rent a car or what; this is all still in the extreme planning stages. I'm just trying to figure out a lot of things here right now.
