Looked up the Winter Olympics start date today; it doesn't start til 12 Feb. It will be a nice pick-me-up in mid-winter. I like watching several of the winter sports so I'm looking forward to it.
Sounds like you've had an overdose of frustration, but at least Acer and Newegg are playing nice. Will you have to pay a penalty to get out of Sprint?

Called Acer, they're sending me a new cord. Sprint tried to increase my fees by $5/mo for no reason so I'm bailing on them; likely going to go Verizon. And UPS messed up my video card shipment, so I don't get that for another week at best. Newegg's going to waive my shipping fee for the inconvenience, though, so that's something.
No, because they made a change to my contract I could get out for no charge. I'm going to start doing a prepaid program through T-mobile, I think; my usage last month was 63 minutes and 73 texts so I'm pretty sure that even at 25 cents/minute and 10 cents/text I'll be paying less than $45/mo.
