Gray-looking skies out there. I guess it's what we get for the next few days. My scale was up a pound today, but I'm hoping it's just a reflection of the sodium in the chicken sausage from yesterday's supper. I'd like to think it isn't the 5 Fiesta eggs I snacked on before dinner. I kept my calories in the middle of my range in spite of the eggs, so I hope it goes back down when the sodium washes out.
Damn Sir Ian and his sense of drama! He had me scared when he said Martin Freeman had left The Hobbit, but he actually was the bearer of very good news in that Martin has only left temporarily to go make three more Sherlock episodes. I eagerly await the next batch.
Oh, my goodness, I opened the first package of lamb chops from the butcher and they look amazing! I hope I do them justice. I have decided to grill them, but first I am allowing them to sit with a mixture of salt, pepper, thyme, rosemary, basil, garlic flakes, Vidalia onion, and a touch of white wine. It is taking all my patience (and a glass of the remaining wine) to wait a bit for the lamb to absorb flavor from the spices before I grill them.
They was yummers!
