Happy Easter! Somehow Easter Sunday always seems anticlimactic after the vigil on Saturday evening. We had Fr. Bob Cook as our celebrant since Tom was at St. Stan's. Fr. Bob is a retired priest, tall and stately, very nice. Toward the end, he commented that he has been a priest for 49 years and this was the most engaged and enthusiastic services at which he had ever presided. Our Newman Easter Vigil is truly a special occasion and we appreciate it. Had a very nice time with Michael and Taylor at Bernard's for Easter brunch. Indulged myself, including the dessert table, but not to the point of discomfort. The roast lamb had a pan sauce that was incredible!
