The time seems to be passing very quickly toward retirement. Got an email from Deb McComas yesterday that she quietly retired. I assume the new parish wasn't going to keep both music ministers indefinitely, but they wanted her to stick around long enough to establish the Newman ministers so we wouldn't all bail with her. I will need to see if the music now reverts to all the old St Stan's stuff. If so, they don't need an old Newman cantor any more. If it stays a good mix, I'll hang around awhile longer.
