My kids are growing up - sigh. My daughter will be taking her first professional job halfway across the country and my son is worrying about his post-high school life. Weren't they just babies that I could take to a Tom Pease concert or for a walk in the stroller? Sigh.
Hope your run went well for you and that you'll be recovered and ready for next Saturday. I can't even conceive of running that far, much less competitively. Quite a feat for the feet!
Well, Dad thought we should test our rain/cool weather gear by doing the Rib Mountain hike thing today in the drizzle. Except at Rib Mountain the drizzle was snow. What fun to walk 90 minutes up and down hill! I hope we don't encounter a walking day like that on our trip, but if we do, we now know what to expect. Wouldn't be taking many pictures when you can't see anything for the clouds.
