Wow, it's already October! Next week, we leave on our big trip. Gotta get serious about packing soon.

Skipped exercise this morning to rest an achy body. If the weather stays nice, we'll hike tonight so I'll still get a workout. If not, maybe I just need a little R&R.

I read the last week of Yourmometer last night. Noted that you titled the one about sagging body parts "Just Like Your Mom". Thanks.

I'll be watching for the updates on the Century ride. If you don't ride, would you still run the 5k? Regardless, we'll plan to come down and spend some time with you as you can.

Too drizzly and chilly for hiking. Went out for an early fish fry at Clancy's in Custer before the crowds hit. Old crowd at that hour.

I didn't snack this afternoon, so I'm treating myself to second dessert. One last piece of my homemade apple crisp.


Food:

7:15 am Trader Joe's multigrain flaxseed cereal, 1/2 c light original soy milk, 1/4 large cantaloupe, coffee
11:45 am Chocolate soy shake, Flavorite whole wheat waffle, 1 tsp soft margarine, 2 eggs, large apple, dusting cinnamon sugar
5:15 pm 6 oz baked cod, 3/4 c garlic roasted baby red potatoes, 1/2 c corn, 12 oz pear cider, 1/2 piece strawberry mango pie (on a very thick homemade crust)
6:15 pm Piece apple crisp

"Just like your mom" is intended to be the response to "Ah, so it'll be easy". Because your-mom jokes and so forth. Not cuz you're saggy :P

Also the century is starting to look dubious - I'll keep you updated.
