Got the big suitcase down from the attic last night and started slowly collecting some items for St. Maarten. It begins to be more real! I think I'll downgrade from taking my full hiking boots to my day hikers since we've decided not to do the expensive, all-day ferry to Saba in favor of smaller hikes on St. Maarten itself. I think the day hikers will suffice and be much less bulky. Didn't realize til I checked the Food Tracker that the planned pork sausage casserole was quite that high in calories. Did as much time as I could on the treadmill at Program 4 til it was done cooking, but still went over the daily allotment by 78 calories. If it wasn't so chilly out, I'd walk to Suzuki to get the last of the supper worked off, but I don't fancy the wind today.
