Nice to sleep til 7:30, though I woke up naturally at 4:40 with my body wondering why I wasn't getting up to exercise. I did do Pilates right after I got up at 7:30 though.
I succumbed to buying a product I watched demonstrated at the fair - aren't you surprised? It was making Danish aebleskiver, a round pancake-like food that can be eaten for breakfast, snacks, or whenever. You can fill them with a spoonful of chopped apple, berries, cheese or whatever. The fair people sell a mix for the batter, but there are simple recipes available online. Their mix only makes a couple of batches and costs $10 a pop, so I think I can handle mixing my own flour and buttermilk with eggs. I had the chance to watch them make several, so I feel pretty comfortable that I can do it. They want a pretty penny for their cast iron pan, but Target had a cast iron pan for $14.99 online. It's not in the store, so I had to pay shipping and tax which boosted the price to about $23, but Grandma gave me an extra $20 to spend on something for myself for my birthday, so this will be it.
