Thurs 18 Nov

Today will include more-than-recommended eating as we have our Thanksgiving brunch at work at 9:30 and then we join Grandma at Oakridge for their family Thanksgiving dinner a 11:30. Oakridge is only allowing each resident 2 guests, so I'm having Dad bring Michael as they will be working together and they can eat while I'll just hang out to visit. I don't imagine Oakridge will mind that I'm there if I don't eat and it will get me off the hook from overeating.

Well, my plan didn't work. The serving lady at Oakridge could not deal with me not eating with everyone else so she insisted on bringing me a Thanksgiving meal plate as well. I tried to eat sparingly without being blatantly wasteful, but I was still too full this afternoon.

Food:

7:15 am 1 c Trader Joe's multigrain flaxseed cereal, 1/2 c light original soy milk, 1/2 grapefruit, coffee
9:00 am 3 small Christmas tree white coated pretzels

11:45 am Thanksgiving lunch at Oakridge w/cranberry juice, coffee, small amount of turkey, dab of stuffing and mashed potatoes, dab of green bean casserole, cranberry sauce (homemade and unusually unsweet), and small slice of pumpkin pie w/very small dab of cinnamon ice cream
