Took a long time to get to sleep last night due to a stabbing, recurrent pain in my left big toe. I assume it's the old arthritis that just picked tonight to flare up, but I couldn't find a way to lay my foot to make it stop. Eventually it either slowed down or I developed a tolerance, and then I think I slept like the dead. I sure could use a couple more hours, though.
