God bless 12-hour Sudafed! It was so nice to be able to breathe freely all night long. I could feel the medication at work so I'm reasonably sure I wouldn't have been breathing clearly without it. I feel so much better rested.
Yesterday was a very nice day. We had a relaxed breakfast at home, then drove to Green Bay and had lunch in De Pere at the little bakery because Cafe Chanson no longer is open for lunch on Saturday. We made dinner reservations there for 5 pm, then went to Costco and took our time shopping. We were able to return the unopened bag of 150 candy bars, thus removing that temptation from the house. We still had 2 1/2 hours to kill, so we drove to a winery nearby that had been closed when we tried it previously. We did a nice wine tasting and then walked for about half an hour on a rural bike path that ran right in front of the winery. With driving time, this was just right to get us back to Cafe Chanson in time for a lovely dinner. We were able to be home around 7:30 with time to change the laundry load and the clocks and get some good reading and rest for my cold.
