Just had a phone call from Leone who wanted to tell me about the automated phone call to confirm appointments at Ministry because Grandma hung up on her call and she has an appointment tomorrow. She also needed to make sure we knew that garbage would be picked up early this week and that she paid for Grandma's parishoner contribution for the St. Joe's Cookie Walk but I'm not supposed to tell her. I have told Leone several times that I will tell Grandma if she asks, I will not lie to her. She got exasperated and said, "Then I just shouldn't tell you." When I suggested that this was a good idea, she got mad and hung up. She drives me nuts.
Just looked at the weather forecast. In the words of the Starks, "Winter is coming!"
Simple stir fry for supper. The chicken breasts I got on sale this week are so large that one feeds Dad and I comfortably when stir-fried with veggies and served with brown rice.
Here's an idea for Grandma for Christmas that would likely be very useful. I haven't had time to look at other options, but something she can easily access is the idea to keep Kleenex, phone, small water bottle, etc. handy. www.1800wheelchair.com/asp/view-product.asp?product_id=2214
