The muffins at the donut shop are the small normal-size variety and didn't look too unhealthy. The small chocolate frosted donut probably wasn't too bad a choice, but lacking in anything healthy whereas the cranberry muffin would at least have had fruit and maybe nuts.
Are you planning to find a ride up to Point for the ski swap this weekend? It might not be too expensive to rent a car one way if there are no other options. We have Enterprise here so you could drop it off and Michael could pick you up there at the Royale Inn. I can get you back to Madison on Sunday evening. You could borrow Michael's truck to go to the Ski Swap in case you have equipment to carry. Let me know if you're coming so I can straighten up the kitchen for you!
Sorry you couldn't find a ride to Point. Mary Hofer said Roy or Travis often come this way on weekends, so you could still try calling one of them.
Talked Michael into coming with us to try out the new Mexican restaurant on the south end of town. They make good homemade tamales. And flan.

6:00 pm 1 chicken tamale, 1/2 pork tamale, 1/4 c shredded lettuce, 1 tbl guacamole, 1/2 c refried beans, 1/8 c Mexican rice, chips and salsa, small margarita, 1/4 pc flan, 1/3 pc tres leches cake

Enterprise won't let me one-way to Stevens Point, for some reason. They only allow it "from select airports" or some BS like that.
It'd probably end up being about $100 for the rental anyway, which is about what I'd save on used skis, so it's not really worth it in the long run. Thanks for the offer, though.

Also, do you guys want or need a new printer? They gave me one for free but I don't have room for it and don't need it.
