Scale continues to climb upward even though I think I'm still eating pretty well and doing my best to exercise and move, even when the knee is gimpy. I hope this is temporary. We had my (belated) birthday lunch with my coworkers today at El Ranchito. I tried a new dish, Puerco w/Salsa Verde. It consisted of chunks of roasted pork in a salsa verde sauce to be eaten wrapped in tortillas. Unfortunately it was not particularly attractive on the plate, being a bunch of chunks swimming in a thin green liquid. Tasted quite good, though. My car is at the shop, replacing the starter and possibly the cable. Will be nice to have a car that starts again. In the meantime, they gave me a Corolla as a loaner. Got a nice pot of butternut squash soup simmering on the stove. Used a couple of recipes as a base and added my own touches. Hope it turns out yummy! It did, it did turn out yummy! And the immersion blender makes the puree work so easy!
