Finished the latest Dan Brown book last night. They are enjoyable, fast-moving stories with enough history and European culture to be fun. I had been able to buy it on my Kindle for about $2.
Trying quick-cook steel cut oats with your oatmeal recipe this morning. Only took about 5 min in the microwave which isn't that much longer than old-fashioned regular oats. Different texture, but a nice occasional change of pace.
Found a Light N Fit Greek yogurt at Aldi's in a caramel macchiato flavor that has only 7 g sugar, about the same as most plain I can find. It's actually very nice, reminiscent of the Dannon coffee yogurt that was my lunch staple for years.
SUCCESS!!! THe Christmas tree is down and all the ornaments have been safely stowed in the attic. I had one call on the pager but I was able to deal with it in 15 min, albeit without much help to the person in need as it didn't really fall in our jurisdiction. Can't provide shelter for homeless people just because they have a mental illness.
