Just read an article that said eating fast can triple your chances of being overweight. I have slipped back into the habit of eating too quickly. Maybe it's time to reread French Women Don't Get Fat. That book did inspire me to slow down and taste my food for awhile.

Harry Potter tonight!

I was so under-motivated at lunch that I considered taking a "Scott Walker sick day" afternoon. (Since I probably won't be able to use my sick-day conversion to health insurance when I retire, and if Milwaukee is an indicator, may lose paid sick time altogether, I might as well use it before I lose it.) Instead I worked all afternoon like a good girl, and before the end of the day the on-call pager went off and I am just finishing up at 7:50 pm. I sincerely hope this is it for the week!

Dad is out picking up the cheese fries and I'm still going to try to watch Harry Potter (if I don't fall asleep first!)

Food:

7:15 am Hot cross bun, 1/2 grapefruit, 142 g strawberries, coffee
9:30 am 1/3 sheet candy buttons
11:45 am 121 g orange chocolate chip scone, large orange, strawberry/banana soy shake
2:45 pm Noir Cioccolato truffle
7:45 pm 6 oz blackberry wine
8:15 pm 4 cheese fries, Musselman's Lite Mixed Berry applesauce cup
9:00 pm 3/4 c Schwan's brownie fudge frozen yogurt
