Feeling more energized today - it's a nice feeling. I had more energy during exercise and it hasn't faded so I'm hoping it will last the day. I got a good night's sleep last night. Good things ahead. Scale was slightly lower than last week, too - and on a Monday yet!
Had some sugar cravings this afternoon. Gave in to a peanut butter ball, 2 yogurt pretzels and a Nestle's caramel mini-egg. Not too bad considering I could have gone for much more.
Last time I took my client to Marshfield for her psychiatrist appointment, I copied a recipe from a waiting room magazine for Easy Chicken Biryani. I made it for supper tonight (yes, I occasionally do use the recipes I copy, thank you) and it was delicious!
Went to read in bed after what was hopefully the last on-call of the week (since I can turn the pager over tomorrow). About 8:30, I got so hungry I felt the need of cereal before sleep which is unusual for me. The biryani was good, but I guess not sufficiently filling.
Food:
7:15 am 1 c Trader Joe's multigrain flaxseed cereal, 1/2 c light original soy milk, 1/2 grapefruit, 139 g strawberries, coffee
12:15 pm Strawberry/banana soy shake, 3 cheese fries, 1/4 large cantaloupe, hot cross bun
3:00 pm Peanut butter ball, 2 yogurt pretzels
4:00 pm Nestle's caramel egg
6:00 pm Chicken biryani, 12 oz skim milk
8:30 pm 1 c Quaker Oat Squares, 1/2 c light original soy milk
