Because of a few offenders in Portage County who were recently dismissed (one for embezzlement from the Purchasing Dept and a social worker in our building who was rumored to go to the gym on work time for several years), Amy said there are some very paranoid people who will be watching everyone's conduct carefully. Means I need to make an effort to get to work earlier since I am scheduled to do so. I always felt like I got my 40 hours of work in adequately, but I'll need to be super-diligent for awhile until the dust settles.

When I first bought the Jillian Michaels DVD, I tried the first workout and thought I would die. I did not pick it up again until this morning. Each workout is an intense 20-min circuit with strength training combination moves, cardio including a lot of jumping jacks which used to be exceptionally difficult for me, and abs. I got through the first one okay today and tried the second one right away. Only made it about 3/4 of the way, but I still feel pretty good about it as it was intense.

I'm frustrated because I ate a lot of sweets today in response to some frustrating clients. Didn't help. Just gave me a sugar headache. And it's drizzly and cold so our hike on Rib is off tonight.

Since I was still feeling a bit stressed, we decided to order out for supper. We gave Curry in a Hurry another chance. Not bad, but still not outstanding.


Food:

7:00 am 1 c Trader Joe's multigrain flaxseed cereal, 1/2 c light original soy milk, 1/2 grapefruit, 1/4 large cantaloupe, coffee
9:30 am Small muffin-like pastry thing
11:15 am Small homemade granola bar
12:45 pm Chocolate soy shake, large orange
1:45 pm 4 Peeps bunnies
3:00 pm 1 Reese's egg, 1 Nestle crunch egg, 1 Nestle caramel egg, 1 tube Sixlets
6:00 pm 3 small samosas, chicken curry w/potatoes and carrots, 1/2 c rice w/peas and marinated cabbage, 12 oz skim milk, 32 g milk chocolate egg
