TGIF! This week has seemed long to me, probably because I've been dragging at least some of the time. Today my glutes are sore, but that's from a combination of hiking and a couple of morning exercise videos heavy on squats and lunges. I won't be sorry to finish the day and have a mini-vacation to look forward to.
I also want to pin down dates and make reservations/flights for Virginia. Please think about dates. I thought perhaps leaving early on Sunday Aug 7 and returning on Saturday Aug 13? I will start looking for flights first, then lodging, so any thoughts you can contribute would be helpful.
Sushi supper tonight. Tried a Sun Flower roll in which two pieces were presented flat with shredded crab "petals" and a raw quail egg as the flower center. It was delicious!
