So far feeling much better and more like myself today after a day of rest. Hope it lasts. We start a 4-week Pilates class with Joan Karlen tonight at Studio B Pilates. She decided that since no one knows if/when Patrick will resume, she would offer a class herself since many people had been making inquiries.

Good news! It's noon and I'm still feeling a normal energy level. I'd love to think it will continue.

Almost 5 pm and still feeling normal. Looking forward to Pilates. Hoping Dad gets home soon so we can walk downtown.

Joan's Pilates class was very good - very cerebral as Joan always is. She uses the neutral spine alignment and parallel legs and explains each step of the process. Result is feeling each move more clearly and some very nice stretches. Came home and made some killer homemade pizza burgers.



Food:

7:00 am 1 c Trader Joe's multigrain flaxseed cereal, 1/2 c light original soy milk, 1/2 grapefruit, 93 g strawberries, 73 g blackberries, coffee
11:45 am Vanilla soy shake, spelt scone, 1/2 med cantaloupe
4:45 pm Yoplait chocolate eclair yogurt parfait
7:45 pm 4 oz extra lean ground beef, fresh herb garden basil & oregano, 1 tbl arrabiata sauce, 6 g grated asiago, bun, 1 c mixed greens, 1/4 sliced strawberries, 12 oz skim milk



Exercise:

5:05-6:00 am Buns/Abs of Steel 2000 video
5:15-5:30 pm Walk downtown
5:30-6:45 pm Pilates
6:45-7:05 pm Walk home
