Abraham Lincoln's birthday. I was happy that my scale dipped down a little lower today than it has been for awhile. May have helped to go light on dinner last night, or may be water, but I'll go with the former for now.
I made up a new version of chocolate dipped strawberries. I have some homemade hot fudge left from the last batch, so I heated it just enough to liquefy and am dipping some lovely large strawberries in it to eat right away. Yum!
Today was the day everyone brought treats for staffing because it was Connie's last staffing as part of our unit before she takes a supervisory position with the kids' unit. Lots of goodies. I took clementines to have some kind of healthy offering. There were lots of cheese and crackers, some banana bread and bars, cake, fillo cups w/sausage, cheese, & veggies, etc.
Food:
6:45 am 1 c Trader Joe's multigrain flaxseed cereal, 1/2 c light original soy milk, 1/2 grapefruit, 99 g blackberries, coffee
11:45 am Strawberry/banana soy shake, Light N Fit Raspberry Chocolate Greek blend yogurt, 133 g strawberries w/hot fudge sauce
1:30 pm Clementine, several slices cheese, 1/2 slice banana bread, 2 small banana bars w/cream cheese frosting, small piece lemon cake, fillo cup
7:00 pm 2 Priano crepe manicotti, 1/2 c arrabiata sauce, peach applesauce cup, 8 oz skim milk
