Tired this morning, not sure why. Wasn't that much later than usual when I got to bed. Dinner at Bernard's was quite nice, though they limited our menu choices to three options. One was the poached salmon in dill sauce that had been my second choice when I thought the menu was open, so I didn't mind. Appetizers were shrimps with cocktail sauce and bruschetta, my dessert was a chocolate mousse in a chocolate shell.
Feel like I've just been punched in the belly. Got an email from our union person that the County board is considering a proposal tomorrow for an analysis to reduce Health & Human Services Dept wages and benefits by 30-40%!!!. Guess it might be approaching time to retire after all.
Food:
6:45 am 1 c Trader Joe's multigrain flaxseed cereal, 1/2 c light original soy milk, 1/2 grapefruit, 101 g blackberries, coffee
12:15 pm Vanilla soy shake, slice Earth Friendly bread, 1/2 tbl butter, slice Dubliner cheese, clementine
