Seems so strange that it's already Friday when I just got back to work yesterday. But I'll take it. Hoping for decent evening weather so we could get up to Rib to hike since we didn't get as much as we had hoped at the North Shore.
It's about $100 per person cheaper to fly from Madison to Richmond. We'd be renting a car anyway, so it doesn't look that far to drive. I could get a flight on 8/11 leaving Madison at 8 am and getting in to Richmond at 1 pm.
Weather was great but Dad got home late and was too tired to hike. I ended up having to take tests on Word and Internet Explorer for the new job application. Found out what features of each I had never used and managed to figure out most things.
Food:
7:00 am 1 c Trader Joe's multigrain flaxseed cereal, 1/2 c light original soy milk, 1/4 large cantaloupe, 71 g raspberries, coffee
11:45 am Bowl wild rice mushroom soup, croissant
5:15 pm Small chocolate
6:30 pm Salmon burger, 1 tbl peach/pineapple salsa, Roundy's bun, 2 c Roundy's steamed frozen broccoli, 12 oz skim milk, Blue Bunny mint ice cream sandwich

I have class going through the 5th of August, and a commitment on the 20th, so the only real plausible vacation dates are the 11-18 set, I think.
