Sat 11 Sept

Getting ready to go do the Walk for Hope for Suicide Prevention/Awareness in the rainy weather. This is the 5th year (I think) that I have done this, and Dad has done it with me for at least the last couple years. Hartmans also participate, so we usually walk with them. It's a mere 3 miles so even in the rain, it's not too bad. It rained on us one other year and we didn't melt.

Wasn't too soggy for the walk. Enjoyed chatting with Hartmans as we walked. Hope you don't get too soggy at the Farmer's Market.


Food:

8:00 am 1 c Trader Joe's multigrain flaxseed cereal, 1/2 c light original soy milk, 1/4 med cantaloupe, coffee
11:00 am 1 slice Pizza Hut medium sausage pizza on hand-tossed, 3" ham sub
1:00 pm Green tea w/lemon and ginseng
3:00 pm 1 1/2 c watermelon chunks
4:45 pm 4.5 oz roast pork, 1 tbl BBQ sauce, bun, 1/2 c baked beans, 1/2 c cole slaw
6:30 pm 1/2 c mint chocolate chip ice cream



Exercise:

9:45-10:45 am Walk for Hope 3 miles
3:30-4:00 pm Walk to Panacea
6:45-7:15 pm Walk home
