Gotta get a card and small gift for Hartman's anniversary today. We can't hike tonight because Mary switched my Suzuki night this week, so I should have time to hit Target after work.

I feel much better after a good night's sleep today. I was really cranky and tired last night.

Read a new hint for curbing the impulse to over-snack. Before you decide to snack, you need to visualize and think about your last meal, how satisfied you felt, textures/tastes, etc. It was helpful this afternoon, but I did break down and eat a brownie when I came home because I was a bit hungry and supper will probably be around an hour yet. I have put back about 7 pounds from my ideal weight loss goal, and I need to stop the gain now or risk putting back a whole lot more. I need to go back into full weight loss mode, not just trying to establish a good maintenance routine (which wasn't working).


Food:

7:15 am 1 c Trader Joe's multigrain flaxseed cereal, 1/2 c light original soy milk, 1/4 c cantaloupe, coffee
11:45 am Chocolate soy shake, slice Trader Joe's multigrain fiber toast, 1 tbl almond butter, 100 g blueberries
3:00 pm Green tea
4:45 pm Brownie
5:45 pm 3.75 oz beef tenderloin, 1/2 c mashed potatoes, 1 c summer squash/peppers/onions w 1/2 tbl olive oil, 12 oz skim milk
7:30 pm 1 tbl trail mix
8:45 pm 1/2 c Quaker Oat Squares, 2 oz light original soy milk


Exercise:

5:00-5:50 am Ball/band workout, level 2
8:30-8:40 pm Walk up to 5th floor UW library with Mary
