Tues 4 Oct

Trying to stay motivated for a 5-day work week this week. Trying to remind myself that I really am glad I didn't retire yet; I'm just not ready. But I do have to say this is a beautiful week for the first week after retirement for those who did! Hopefully I'll be as lucky in a few years when the time comes.

Doing the Jane Fonda original workout this morning was tough. I haven't done it for a while and had forgotten how intense it can be.

QUESTION: What is a meat raffle?

Sounds like fun. Do you know what the winner got?

Eddie Hartman turns 18 today, the last of the Hartmen/LeGault kids to tip into adulthood. End of an era. Also end of Joan's Pilates classes, although another instructor will teach next week and then do the next session if people are interested. I will miss Joan's intellectualization of how the body moves.

We had no idea either - it was some little gimmick that this random bar we stopped at was doing on Saturday. You bought a number for $1, they spun a wheel, if your number came up, you got a choice of something from their icebox that some local supplier had filled (steaks and such). No one in our group won anything, though.
