It was nice at Passport to Paradise. The jazz band was good but Dad was not in shape to dance. The buffet was good, but I thought it best to get something of everything right away in case there was no more left, then found I had taken much more than I could eat. The appetizers were more filling and when they were distributed on three small plates, deceived me as to how much food I really had taken. I felt bad leaving one fully loaded plate (with items from the other plates packed on) on the table. The Moscow Mule with vodka from the local distillery was good, even if it wasn't served in copper.
I have a ton of laundry to do today as I didn't do anything except change sheets last week. Beyond that, not too much else looms as I got the property taxes paid and my social worker license renewed, two tasks that had been hanging over my head. Heather will likely drop off the Lutheran church pasties, so I suppose I should be out of my jambes before noon.
