I'm really glad Keaton took pity and drove you to the mall right away to get a new jacket. Hope you found one you liked! Were there good deals to be had since it's late in the season?
I broke down yesterday and bought a package of prune ponczkas - sigh! Very high in calories but what a treat! I promise to eat some of these and not buy more if I can help it. I also bought a bottle of champagne and drank a small glass with supper. Slightly more satisfying than milk, if not as nutritious. The French Women Don't Get Fat lady claims you could have wine every night with your dinner and not have a problem. (Of course, she also works for one of the premier champagne houses of France!) I think as long as I have a glass of milk sometime during the day and get other calcium, I should be okay occasionally. There are only about 20 calories per ounce, and I believe the small champagne flutes hold about 4 oz.
Today will be busy: church, groceries, and lunch with Grandma as usual, choir moved up to 1:15-3:15 pm to make time for the Packer game at 5:30 pm. GO PACK!

I got a really nice Columbia half price - still about $160, but if it lasts as long as the last Columbia, it'll be great. AND it's a small so it actually FITS, and it's really super warm. If that was more than you wanted to spend, I can cover half of it; just let me know.
